ALL ABOUT GLITTERS

Hello everyone today I shall be talking about the glitters which I find are readily available in BD.
Ok so let's start :D

first up we have the famous 15-30 tk glitters found in most market's which sell parlor stuff like new market and small stores in Uttara. now these come in two types:-

-The sticky one:
sticky glitter
These one's come in small eye shadow pots and have a sticky texture, now these are great if you want all your lids to be covered with glitter like each and every corner cause as the glitter's stick together they look super ugly if you try spacing it out.

-The pigment like ones:
pigment like glitter
Now there are the other ones which comes in tiny pots and are like pigments. I prefer these as you can decide how much or how less you want. Like you can just pat them over the eye shadow for a super light glittery effect or you can use a bit of glitter primer and then layer them on to make the lid look like glitter world.

Alright now let's talk about how they feel. Both of them are pretty chunky for cosmetic glitter. Honestly You can buy the craft glitters and they are actually the same size. Now they never did scratch my cornea but that doesn't mean they are 100% safe so do be a bit cautions while using them.

Our second contender are the wet and wild /NYX/MUA glitter palettes.

wet and wild glitter palette
These palettes can be found on online pages and some showroom's for those pages for around 500-700tk. Now my honest opinion they suck, don't even get them. The glitter's may be nice and all but there is barely any glitter in them, except for the bit of glitter you can see on top the rest of it is all some Vaseline kinda transparent stuff, and even if you do get them despite the Vaseline thinking that it's ok I will just use it once anyways ,because of that Vaseline substance it will crease you whole makeup like hell.. honestly unless you are super duper careful about the amount you use there will be a crease especially if you have hooded eye, then it will be crease city.

Now let's get to some nice glitters that I am loving recently. these are the La splash glitters. I have 3 types of glitter to show here.. one is the glitter eyeliner, second the glitter eye shadow and third their glitter pigment. Thought their textures are different all of them have super fine cosmetic grade nice and pretty glitter which will not hurt your eyes.

-LA Splash Glitter eyeliner:
La splash glitter eyeliner
These come in a long tube. If you prefer to use the glitter directly without much fuss try these out as they already have a bit of stickiness and the eyeliner brush can be used to apply it nicely without much trouble. They cost about 325tk here. all of them have a transparent gel kinda texture with the glitter in it.

-LA Splash Glitter eye shadow:
La splash glitter eyeshadow
This ones also comes in a tube but with a doe shaped applicator. The formula of the eye shadow glitters are a bit less sticky so i do prefer them a bit more. They have more of a shimmer to them and hence they look more vibrant than the eyeliner glitters. They cost around 365tk.

-LA Splash crystallized glitter:
La splash loose pigments.
Literally love them. They come in pot's which a sieve(not included in the picture above) to ensure that all the pigments don't fall off while using it.They have this pigment added to the glitter or something that make them look super finely milled and pretty.Honestly the best in the bunch compared to the prices. You do have to use a glitter base beneath it if you want the glitters to pop but except that no complains.they cost around 300tk here. :)

Well that's about it for now. Have a good day and like my fb page for more updates:

Sleek Arabian Nights-smoke and shadows

Hello everyone, today I am reviewing a product I have been dying for ever since I heard about it.It's the sleek Arabian nights palette. It was a sleek special edition eye shadow but I guess You can still find it in shops.Ever since I saw it I was in love with the range of color's it in.From smokey colors to pretty neutrals for blending and shiny shimmer's for highlight's this palette has got it all.Sleek if a cruelty free brand so it can be bought by vegetarians as well.I got mine from banglashoppers a shop in Bangladesh for 1450tk but now it's price has decreased to 1050tk. You can also order this product online from their page. link of page here: https://www.facebook.com/bangla.shoppers?fref=ts

Now let's talk about the colors. From top left the first two colors are light and shimmery which is perfect for brow highlight.next few colors can be used alone or in combination with the others to create a great smokey look. This palette contains mostly shimmery satin shades with only Stallion being a matte shade. All of the colors have great pigmentation except gold souk which seemed a bit flaky. They also have very good staying power and has 0 fallout.I would totally repurchase this.My rating on this would be 9/10 only for that one eye shadow.

Well that's all for now.Like my fb page for more updates like & comment if you like this review and would like a review on any other specific product and stay pretty.

Smart shopping beauty blender-Thrift Thursday

Hello everyone,
for today' thrift Thursday I am going to show you the dupe for the famous real technique's beauty blender and it is the smart shopping's beauty blender.

Now for those of you who are new to beauty blender they are sponge like well umm sponges used to apply liquid or cream foundation ,contour and highlight in your face. Now the first beauty blender made is  a pink one and that costs $20 which is about 1550tk ,then came out the dupe-ish sponge for the originals pink one from real technique which is $6 but everywhere in bd you get it for 750-850 ish which isn't exaclty cheap or budget friendly. So then we get this dupe of the rt's one from smart shopping and this is the bomb! Trust me when I tell you this blender feels totally like the rt's one.from the shape to the size to the dimensions they are totally alike ,it even feels just as soft but the only difference and this is a difference I like is in the pricing. While in bd you can find the rt's one for 750-850tk this beauty blender is only 300tk that's like less than half of the rt's one!.I have used this one a few times and have washed it once and it is still retaining it's shape so the material seems good as well.It is definitely a must have for people who use cream or liquid foundation as it gives the foundation a nice almost air brushed finished .Will I be repurchasing this, most definitely and you should too.

Sleek Ultra matte v1-Swatch & Review

Hey lovelies,
So today I am doing a review for the sleek Ultra matte v1. SleekSleek introduced this palette and another palette called ultra matte v2 .The v1 is more vibrant and bring and colorful while v2 is more dark and smokey neutral kind.I got mine from the page Let's be pretty but you can get it from banglashoppers for 1050tk.The great thing about this palette is that it is not tested in animals and is suitable vegetarians.

Ingredients-Mica, Talc, Kaolin, Magnesium, Stearate

Dimethicone, Paraffinum Liquid, Ethylhexyl

Palmitate, Propylparaben and Methylparaben, +/-

[CI77510, CI 77289, CI 77491, ,CI 77492].

Now onto the colors. All of them are matte and unlike most of the sleek palettes this one does not contain a black color which is a  good thing considering the fact that I already have like 5-6 black eye shadows one from each of their palette so don't really need no more.Sadly not all of the color have the same creaminess and the color floss and pow were the least pigmented. The color Bamm was pretty pigmented but a bit chalky ,but expect these all the other colors were super creamy and pigmented. My most favorite color in this palette would probably be a tie between blot, puker, strike and sugarlite cause the are super vibrant and pigmented and blends like a dream.Chill is also a pretty turquoise minty color which I haven't seen in any palette recently. All in all a very pretty summer palette and can be used on wedding and parties as well just add a bit of glitter on top of them and you are good to go.They also have really good staying power and would last for 7-8- hours before fading. For people with tan skin like mine I would suggest using a white base before using the colors to get these colors to pop.Would I repurchase this ,ummm probably not cause I don't really use this colors on a everyday basis so this one will last me for quite some time.

Elf Essential Brightening Eye Colour-Thrift thuesday

Hey lovelies,
So for today's thrift thrusday I was in a total lack of ideas on what to write about.Cause it had to be a good product but it also had to be budget friendly so I looked and looked and then from the corner of my vanity I found this little gem.Now most people have bad thoughts when it comes to elf they might not be pigmented ,or they may be chalky and stuff and I TOTALLY AGREE .When I first got the elf 100 piece eyeshadow box I was literally furious on how horrible most of the pigments were but then one day I got these tiny shadow's and they were not at all like the huge palettes. These are portable, pigmented ,long lasting and budget friendly;Honestly what more can you ask for.Now as most elf products are hit or miss so I don't know if all the colours are good but the one's I have which are luxe and punk funk and  I am literally in love with them.Luxe has some lovely warm colours which are perfect for eyeryday wear while punk funk is pretty popping with purples, blues and pinks Punk Funk also has tiny glitters in it too which makes them so much more prettier. This shadows are $1 in their website and you can find them for 140tk a site called gotimoy. So go ahead try them out and be pretty and in budget ^_^.

Hair chalk-Trail tuesday

Hey everyone,
This week is probably the most horrible week I am having with all the traffic from people coming back to the city & the dullness of a routine so thought how about I do something colorful for trail Tuesday.Hence to bring more colors in your life try out hair chalk.
Collected from net

They are easy to apply and can be removed in just one wash.
So the steps to applying them are
1.take hair chalk.
2.take small section of hair where you want to apply colour.
3.wet hair and/or hair chalk.
4.apply the chalk by rubbing it gently from the top of your hair to the bottom .
5.Wait for it to dry or straighten the hair for lasting colour.
6.You can also use a little hairspray but not too much as it might remove the colour.
They do stay on for about 4-5 hours but then they fade out a bit.It might be because I have black hair so not entirely sure about that. Also heard it stay longer on bleached hair likes for 2-3 washes so thats a point to note. Now this pack the one I have seems to set nicely when dried and won't crumble and fall in your clothes unless they are constantly being touched by your cloths but there is this other one called hot hues and those have really good colours but OMG they fall everywhere from the moment you use them,in  your cloths, floor, cats everywhere!!.Definitely against that brand. The best place to use them is on the top of your hair for small pop of highlights. The one I got was for 400tk but that was because someone got them and was selling them off and they are around 1000tk ish in the fb pages I have seen.Would I purchase this again probably not,but it is a nice item to have in your vanity for a fun night out or something like that.
Well that's all for now.Comment below if you like my blog and like the fb page for updates.LEmme know if there is any product you would like a review on
stay colorful and pretty.
