Elf Essential Brightening Eye Colour-Thrift thuesday

Hey lovelies,
So for today's thrift thrusday I was in a total lack of ideas on what to write about.Cause it had to be a good product but it also had to be budget friendly so I looked and looked and then from the corner of my vanity I found this little gem.Now most people have bad thoughts when it comes to elf they might not be pigmented ,or they may be chalky and stuff and I TOTALLY AGREE .When I first got the elf 100 piece eyeshadow box I was literally furious on how horrible most of the pigments were but then one day I got these tiny shadow's and they were not at all like the huge palettes. These are portable, pigmented ,long lasting and budget friendly;Honestly what more can you ask for.Now as most elf products are hit or miss so I don't know if all the colours are good but the one's I have which are luxe and punk funk and  I am literally in love with them.Luxe has some lovely warm colours which are perfect for eyeryday wear while punk funk is pretty popping with purples, blues and pinks Punk Funk also has tiny glitters in it too which makes them so much more prettier. This shadows are $1 in their website and you can find them for 140tk a site called gotimoy. So go ahead try them out and be pretty and in budget ^_^.

Hair chalk-Trail tuesday

Hey everyone,
This week is probably the most horrible week I am having with all the traffic from people coming back to the city & the dullness of a routine so thought how about I do something colorful for trail Tuesday.Hence to bring more colors in your life try out hair chalk.
Collected from net

They are easy to apply and can be removed in just one wash.
So the steps to applying them are
1.take hair chalk.
2.take small section of hair where you want to apply colour.
3.wet hair and/or hair chalk.
4.apply the chalk by rubbing it gently from the top of your hair to the bottom .
5.Wait for it to dry or straighten the hair for lasting colour.
6.You can also use a little hairspray but not too much as it might remove the colour.
They do stay on for about 4-5 hours but then they fade out a bit.It might be because I have black hair so not entirely sure about that. Also heard it stay longer on bleached hair likes for 2-3 washes so thats a point to note. Now this pack the one I have seems to set nicely when dried and won't crumble and fall in your clothes unless they are constantly being touched by your cloths but there is this other one called hot hues and those have really good colours but OMG they fall everywhere from the moment you use them,in  your cloths, floor, cats everywhere!!.Definitely against that brand. The best place to use them is on the top of your hair for small pop of highlights. The one I got was for 400tk but that was because someone got them and was selling them off and they are around 1000tk ish in the fb pages I have seen.Would I purchase this again probably not,but it is a nice item to have in your vanity for a fun night out or something like that.
Well that's all for now.Comment below if you like my blog and like the fb page for updates.LEmme know if there is any product you would like a review on
stay colorful and pretty.

Sleek precious metals highlighting palette-Swatch Sunday

Hey everyone,
So the last post for this week's swatch Sunday is gonna be about the sleek precious metal highlighting palette.Considering the new trend of strobing  I thought of trying this out and I am soo glad that I did.It is everything a person needs to get them highlight's on fleek. It was 1250tk and I got it from a random online page in facebook but you can get it in similar price from banglashoppers as well.It has four pretty shades,,three of which are creamy and one powder.you can use the whitish pink shimmer for inner eye corners as well. There are 2 golden shimmer's one just shimmery and one with chunky glitters in it and the last shade is a darkish bronzy brown which can be used as a bronzer. They have really good lasting power and don't feel creamy or oily but has a nice powdery finishing to them,Definitely a must buy.Seriously cannot think of anything bad about them at all.
Thats all for now

Rimmel Volume accelerator and soft khol kajol-Swatch Sunday

Hey pretty people,
This is a review for the Rimmel Volume accelerator mascara and soft khol kajol.I found this pack while roaming around in Almas a few days back and was looking for a good substitute Loreal paris Voluminous volume mascara. There were 2 products for 430tk so I thought I would give this a try.The khol kajol is pretty normal will smudge but gives a really nice black colour nothing much to say about that one but the mascara is WOW.It gives ton's of volume  and even lengthen the lashes a bit.According to the package it helps to promote natural growth of lashes not really sure if that's true but it's nice to know neways. The best thing about the mascara is how the wand is designed .It has a curved figure which helps in getting those tiny front lashes which are normally missed by the uniform wands. The mascara is totally smudge free, used it for 6 hours and there was not a single smudge.Another thing I like about both the mascara and the kajol is that they do not have any parabens in them so they are safe for daily wear aswell. They only bad thing about the mascara is that when applying a second coat it makes the lashes clumpy so avoid that in  this mascara, though a second coat isn't necessary cause one coat does give enough volume.
Will I repurchase this? Definitely cause considering the price and amount and quality this is a total win win situation.
Well that's all for now.If  you like my blog comment below and let me know.Like the facebook page for more updates and stay pretty.

Sleek i-Divine Eyeshadow palette rio rio-Swatch Sunday

Hello everyone. So for the first post on swatch Sunday I am going to be reviewing the Sleek eye shadow palette rio rio. It.It is super pigmented ,creamy and has the perfect combination of shimmery and matte shades. This palette was inspired by the Rio carnival and hence has very bold, colorful and bright colors,It is definitely a must have if you are into making fun or colorful looks and the best part about this palette is the colors are so wearable unlike some other palette where the color seem to bright for daily wear you can easily use 2-3 shades from here for a day out or while going to the office like the color urca, copacabana, ipanema and you can also use cachaca as a very pretty highlight shade for underneath the eyebrows. The mattes in this palette are also amazing cause they are super pigmented and bright and not at all chalky. Now for some negative sides of the palette most of the swatches I have seen online shows the colour leme to be a very bright blue shade but mine felt a bit dry and chalky so maybe I had a bad set or something but except that I love this palette and especially love the colorful city of gold it is literally the most pretty shade of gold I have ever seen.10/10 would definitely repurchase this palette.Btw this is a limited edition palette so get it while it's still available.

Sleek Rose gold featuring MUA shade 6(Thrift Thursday)

Hello everyone who is looking for beauty in a budget, today for Thrift Thursday I am going to show you the dupe of the famous Nars orgasm.
Collected from net

And it is the sleek blush in shade Rose gold.

You can also find this similar shade in the sleek blush by three Lace called Guipure.

While the Nars orgasm costs $30 the Sleek blush in Rose gold only costs $6.99 & the Sleek blush by three in lace costs $14.99 ,which is half the price and in addition to that you also get two lovely matte warm shades..I don't have the Nars blush so I can't exactly say if it feel's the same but they do look the same.I got rose gold for 800tk from Banglashoppers ,you can also get Lace from there which is 1500tk. Link to fb page:  https://www.facebook.com/bangla.shoppers/timeline

Rose gold swatch on left and Lace guipure on right

The shade is a very lovely light warm pink colour with golden shimmer to it so you don't even need to add highlight which is a win win situation..The sleek blushes have a very good lasting power and has a really nice finish to it as well.So if you are looking for a good blush under budget you can definitely try this one.

Now another blush which is also a dupe is the MUA blush in shade 6.

MUA shade 6 swatch

At first I thought this is probably too warm to be a dupe but when I swatched it OMG I could literally not tell which was the sleek one and which the MUA one.The MUA ones are 1 pound so that's an even better deal. The only problem with the MUA ones are that they don't have a good staying power and they fade in about 2-3 hours. Also I had a hard time finding the MUA one in fb pages and got mine from Bodyline for 280tk.

Well that's all for now..Hope this helps anyone looking for a dupe in a budget. If there is any other product you would like for me to find a dupe for leave a comment below.

Fashion herbs -mango bleach(Trail Tuesday)

Hello lovelies,

So for trail Tuesdays I am going to try out a bleach called mango bleach. It costs 100 tk and I got the 45 gm.There is also a smaller pack for 50 tk for one time usage.I suggest using it at night as the box says to not use soap for 6 hours afterwards and it's kind of bad to go out in the sun right after bleaching as the thin outer layer of skin is removed by the bleach and it makes the skin more prone to damage at the time.
In the box they gave the developer ,bleach a pre bleach cream and a spatula to mix everything up.
Though I didn't use the pre bleach cream cause I don't know whats in it and there wasn't and ingredients listen about it either.

So I used half of  each of them and mixed it up

After mixing it for about a minute the mixture fluffed up and the volume increased alot.

It gave a mango mango smell which was a nice smell instead of the usual chemically smell from bleaches I usually got from fem.Used it in my hand for 10 minutes and then washed it off. The results were pretty good all the hair became  yellow and it remove a little bit of my tan as well.I used olive oil after washing my face to keep it moisturized.

Rating-8/10

WARNING-Many of them had really old manufactured date like 2008- 2009 but had a expire date of 2016 , I think those were fake so do check that out while buying one.I will definitely be purchasing this again.

Thats all for now
xoxo :)

Sleek showstopper-Swatch Sunday

Hello so my last post for this Swatch Sunday is going to be about sleek i-divine in showstopper. It features the best eye shadows from previous palettes. It costed me around 1450tk here in BD. It is one of their limited edition palette & has a mix of matte, glitter and satin finish eye shadows. There are some really nice neutral colours for daily wear as well as some eye popping colours for special occasions. The palette is pretty neutral and does have a nice mix of both warm and cool toned colours. They give a plastic sheet with the eye shadow palette with name's for each of the shadows so it is easier to distinguish between them. Each name is the name of the palette they are taken from. Most of the colours are pigmented except graphite and Paraguaya.Sleek eyeshadow's do contain parabens so it's probably best to avoid them for daily wear.I would definitely be repurchasing this palette mostly for the bad girl, storm ,sunset, Au natural and graphite colours because the are amazing.
Also I would like to add that the colour Au natural is a very fun colour as it is a matte purple but with silver glitters which make it very unique in this palette.

Rating-8/10

non brand concealer palette-Swatch Sunday

Don't have anything to do today so doing swatches of another product. This is a non branded concealer palette which I got from the page Smart shopping.I forgot how much I got this for but at the moment it's 850tk on the page.It has a creamy consistency and can be used under a oil based foundations or a powder foundation..I would suggest to not use it if a liquid foundation is being applied cause the cream and liquid won't mix and would leave streaks all over the face. There are 15 colours in it which includes a highlight, 3 colour corrector shades(green ,purple & yellow) and other's are yellow or red concealer shades and there is a really dark shade which can be used for contouring as well. Some of the shades do feel a bit more hard than other's,I found out that rubbing them in a circular motion with your finger does loosen it up and then can be used smoothly or if you prefer to use brushes a few second under a hair dryer will do the trick. They do give a really nice coverage and stay on for a long time as well. There isn't anything written in the box so don't have any ideas about the ingredients in them but it was probably written in the box in came with which I threw away .Will I repurchase this? Yes I will cause it's a nice addition in the makeup bag for doing heavy makeup's or just a bit of coverage for daily wear.Remove it using  makeup remover or olive oil or any oil based makeup remover it won't come off if using just water or a normal face wash.

Rating- 8/10

That all for now

Menow liquid lipgloss-Swatch Sunday

So for my very first Swatch Sunday I have decided to try out the new Menow liquid lip gloss which is a very popular liquid to matte lip gloss recently. They are mostly found in eBay and for people in BD there are available in various online pages and maybe Gausia.
I bought number 08,22 & 28  from the pages BD budget beauty and Princess Gallery .their price varies from 170-200tk.

Now let's talk about the quality. It feels creamy when first used and then after a minute becomes matte. Not all of them have the same consistency I felt number 22 was more matte than the ones I have. They do have a weird paint smell to them which I found a bit off putting but except that everything else was ok.They do come off if you have oily food and would be need to applied again.Probably good to have for a night out once or twice a month but I won't suggest using them on a regular basis.A better option would be the LA splash lip couture which stays on forever and has a better quality though it is also pricier ranging from 450-500tk. Remove them using makeup remover or olive oil.I used castor oil and that seemed like the easiest way as it become dry and flaky and came off while with other methods it become gooey and a bit messy.

Rating-6/10.

Thats all for now
